Père Noël

Père Noël arrived yesterday, on a foggy evening, outside Ben's work canteen. He travelled in a horsedrawn calèche, or open carriage.
The family party was enjoyed by all, with fantastic presents for the children and great food - this is aligot, mashed potato with a secret ingredient!
It's a very stringy cheese which gives the potato interesting properties as well as a great taste!

I do rather like the idea of cheesey potato! I haven't had that since I was a child!

My goodness that's very stretchy potato! There must be truck loads of cheese in it. It must be so much fun for the kids to play with. How did the birthday go?
