Sounds kind of interesting, doesn't it?
I've been trying to imagine what 'Flossgate' would mean in media terms.
Perhaps it would be the discovery that I am not, in fact, a 42-year old British mother of two living in France,
but am in fact an elderly Chinese man blogging from San Fransisco,
with designs upon world domination, or your savings, or something...
But actually, all that the title means is that our gate was functional but covered in rust and lichen, so Ben sanded it, and I painted it, a bit at a time, and now...
THIS is Flossgate!

Phew, so glad you've not got designs on world domination or my meagre savings! Blimey, Floss, that's a gate and a half. Very impressive! xx
Cute post! Love the new look of the 'Flossgate'! xo
That's a fancy gate. The entrance to Floss Mansion!

Now I can't get the idea of an elderly Chinese man in San Francisco out of my head!
Wow! what a splendid entrance.
Do you have to get out and open them? or is there some electronic wizardry which does it for you?
Or do you have a flunkey ?
[I've always liked the idea of flunkeys!]
Of course, Ang, we have TWO flunkeys! (But don't tell them that's what they are...)
That gate is wonderfully French - therefore I have to believe you are who you've always said you are ;)
I see what you mean about gates in France - they don't do small, do they! By the way did I mention that I'm a Russian spy in 'real world'?
I love the idea that you're really a wizened Chinese gentleman...but somehow I doubt it! Your gates are very grand, and beautifully painted! Can I just mention my 100 post giveaway over at fatdormouse.blogspot.com...anyone & everyone is welcome to join in.
You've managed to do well with your impersonation, if indeed you have designs upon your readers' bank accounts. Love the new gate, and the name.
I just googled 'Chinese Floss' and came up with this picture
