...when you walk into the charity shop...
..and someone with the same taste as you...
...but more money...
...has donated an entire collection of things...
... that you've always wanted!
It's not finished yet!
Phew - this is the last one.
But just to keep up the Cath Kidston theme, I found Stanley in another CS:
To round off the day's charity shopping, here's a lovely sampler mug:
Like me and my mum, you may be wondering who on earth would give away all these lovely books...
Or, like my dad, you might be wondering how I'm going to get them back to southern France. Don't worry about that - I have porters!
Load them down with books to donate to a charity shop...
and pay them with extra time on the Nintendo DS - it works!

All is going well in Edinburgh - thanks so much for your messages. My mum is very tired but loving having the boys here.

Wow what a deal Floss ... some people do seem to have more money than sense but at least the CS has benefited and you will too now. Have a lovely weekend and don't work those porters too hard!

Unbelievable! I wish I could find such fantastic offerings - I am three months into my Ultimate Challenge but I have found a new summer wardrobe ..... BUT I am drooling over your books. I know I should not covert :0)
Blessings, Val <><
Now that's what I call a haul, I feel some charity shop shopping coming on! You'll have enough to read and browse all summer long which will keep you on track with the Challenge so I see that little lot as too good to pass up!
That's wonderful, Floss! You will love Bazaar Style, the colors are heavenly! Happy reading!

Now that is a good day at the charity shop! Every once in a while that happens to me, too. At our Canada Day celebrations yesterday, I spotted a Boy Scouts booth, and lo and behold, there was one of those blanket ponchos covered in badges like the one featured on your blog a while ago. I had to take a couple of pictures of it. And I thought of you and your mum and dad and wished you all well.
How fantastic !!

HAPPY ~COZY~ FOURTH OF JULY from the USA today!!!
Glad you're having a good time. I have several of these - your only problem becomes which style to adopt or whether to go for your own mix of all of them - which is what I do!
wow, those are some awesome finds - love the chest on your previous post too
Your boys are so cute. I love the way they are so unaware of the camera. Good book packing kids, I say.
