Vintage at the Gite - a little quiz!

Our gite was full of unassuming vintage charm. I wonder if you'll be able to spot where I found this little spider amongst the following items of brocante? Opposite our attic bedroom door was this enamel sign.
Walking sticks or (dare I say it?) umbrellas could be stored here, by the door.
I thought of Serenata when I saw this - there was a Singer underneath, but I never checked the type...
In the main bathroom was a charming, but not matching, pitcher and wash bowl.
I thought the wash bowl would have looked good in my own collection!
Than handpainted violets on the pitcher were rather more special, really.
Downstairs, a washstand had been converted to modern needs.
As had these lamps above the stand!
So, did you spot the location of my spider?
It was delicately hand painted next to the violets on the pitcher. Unusual, but rather sweet.

No I didn't even though I really admired that lovely violet painted jug! Lots of lovely vintage stuff there obviously.

The gite looks brilliant - we really must start saving here. I need a french holiday.

We used to have gite hols every summer before the boys were born - amazing places shared often with an array of wildlife - real spiders, lizards, mice and a close encounter with a bat!!

Oh how I love the spidery pitcher, I would like to take it home. I would have left a replacement pitcher and told a massive fib to say I had broken the lovely spidery one - nobody would know and it would be mine forever!

Yep spotted it. Bit odd really on such a pretty pitcher, could give someone a nasty fright. I don't do spiders so would never buy such an item. I love the modern bathroom! So funny what modern can mean when you have a wash bowl in the bedrooms. What a novelty for the boys that must have been. I can see water all over the place.
