Opposite our Gite door...

were these stacks of glass bottles.

We were in the second house (a dower house, maybe?)

of what is still a working apple farm.

Apples and fresh apple juice are sold at the door a few times a day.

The children enjoyed the juice at our celebration meal, and Son 1 took some interesting studies of empty glasses!

We have fresh cider here and I love it every autumn. However, I have never tasted fresh apple juice before.
Oh wow! I want some.
Mmm. I can just imagine the wonderful fresh taste! So glad they use glass bottles and not plastic ones.
