Green is...

... Ben's ancient work boots, which were given a new life when the boys planted them up for Father's Day last year... ... a cushion in our green-themed bedroom...
... a fantastic little bobble from the cushion...

... a wreath on our front door - a vide greniers find... ... the book I'm currently re-reading...
... our bedroom in hazy sunshine... ... a monster bag, which helps me teach my younger pupils!..
... Ben's napkin ring... ... Ben's kitchen chair - we all stenciled our own four years ago... ... the beam in our bedroom - no light for a real plant up there, so I cheated!.. ... my first ever patchwork, with the Brownie Girl Scouts, in memory of 'Daisy' Gordon Lowe, their founder...
...a green fu dog in our bedroom, non-identical twin to the orange one...
... my collection of carnivorous plants (taken last summer, as they don't look too good at this time of the year!)...
Thanks again to Lynn, of The Little Red Hen, for the lovely idea of this colour week! Find and visit the other participants here.

Do you enjoy living in France?

*Love* the idea about the old boots!

I am slowly getting the impression that your home is so cozy, warm and homely. Such bliss!

P.S. I just went to search for an online World Clock. http://www.timeanddate.com/worldclock/
Yes, I believe we are on the same time zone!

I love all your photos, this has been really fun to participate in. I'm glad I was able to help clear things up for your husband (lol).

HI again. I too love the fact that both my children are totally fluent in french now - what an advantage. I love where we live - 6kms out of town in the french countryside. We live in an old barn which we are 'still' converting into a house, these things take time when you have to work as well. My husband is an Antiques dealer and restorer. We too, love that we could come here and buy a large property with some land. Generally the people we meet are kind and I don't feel I have to watch Holly every minute if she is out playing.
What is Toulouse like?
Take care.

I Love your photos, I love the planter Boots and I loved that book. The cushion from your bedroom reminds me of a great big cushion I used to snuggle under as a child.
