I adore buttons too. Here's a weird thing - at university, a friend and I both loved Charity Shops, and would go searching through any that we found. However, she had a genuine phobia about buttons, and couldn't touch them or wear them. She used to shudder and leave the shop whenever I found a button tin to sort through!
How peculiar about the button-phobe! Perhaps she was a reincarnated Amish person; they don't accept buttons.
I'm delighted that you love buttons. I certainly do, and you are so sweet all the way in beautiful France!
