Fèves - would you like a clue?

I'm loving your suggestions for what was in the gateaux des roix in my previous post!So far we have two guesses for a rabbit, and one each for a life-size model of Nicolas Sarkozy (I guess it might fit...), a jelly-baby, a mime (which Son 1 actually got as a Lego figure for Christmas!), a mole (more on Mole later) and an inspired question from Serendipitychild: "Does the shape/colours give us a clue?"Well, yes, something on the cake does give you a clue!
So, here is a spotlight on our haul of fèves for this year - now take your pick from the following options:

An amorous pair of ladybirds,

A chocolate eclair,

A yellow Alpine flower,

Another beheaded figure (Bad, Bad Mummy),

A cow from a Nativity Scene (brought in from Son 2's extensive collection to replace the beheaded character),

A shepherd.

Let me know your choice and I'll tell you on Wednesday when we get back from the UK - we're setting off tomorrow for a flying visit to Ben's family, as his granny died (aged nearly 102) after Christmas and the funeral will be on Tuesday.

If I ever found a feve model (life size or not...) of Nicolas Sarkozy, I would be more than happy to bite his head off !!
All jokes aside, I'm going for the alpine flower (because it's a flower and the background is blue !)
So sorry to hear of the 102 year old granny's passing, may she rest in peace.

Alpine flower for me just because it's pretty and for some reason has reminded me that I once had an alpine flower brooch as a child.

I have a drawer full of the little things, some with heads and others....well, slightly damaged!

Gosh Granny lived a lovely long life, still it's sad that she is no longer with you. I hope the funeral is lovely for her.

Now onto the other business. It's the flower for sure. Big clue that was. They look a lot bigger than I had imagined. They are so neat!

I'm going for the flower too - are these cakes sponsored by dentists?! They sound very dangerous!

I know it's sad to lose somebody, but 102 was a grand old age, wasn't it? I am with the others in guessing it was the flower..........

I'll be a contrary Mary and go for the pair of ladybirds. Our girls celebrated Epiphany at school in the French style with crowns last year. Made it more significant.

102 is a very grand age. All the best for the journey back.
