Legwarmers and Treasure Chests

Hello - I'm doing a Lesley Judd today (for Brits of a certain age) - I have made myself legwarmers out of an old wooly jumper. That's my recup' for the month, I think! Now, on your marks, get set, GO!

I have posted new items for sale in my Troc and Broc Vintage Shop and one of them has sold immediately! The box above is part of a Treasure Chest Deal - you can buy it and fill it with up to four smaller items without paying extra postage charges. Hurry!

I think the legwarmers will make a comeback, I have a friend who wears them under her boots to fill them out !

Well done on an early sale! hope your shop does well.. I have to admit that this vintage thing is new to me (I was brough up on second hand clothing (and everything else!) from jumble sales so have a mental block, but I am working on it)... the lace looks beautiful and would be worth framing under glass for a dressing table with some rose petals. Lovely.

I had to laugh when I read the first comment since I can only do my boots up if wearing the thinnest of tights! I'd have to wear any leg warmers over the top I think!

Good luck with your shop.

I've thought about making leg-warmers too as it is ten degrees today! Much to cold for my liking. Now all I need is a sweater...

Lesley Judd.. now that does bring back a flood of memories. I made the railway tunnel with bits of sponge painted green for bushes. I was always rubbish, but I had enthusiasm, which Lesley, I know would have applauded. Love your box. Helen

Those sort of toys just say love to me. There is nothing better than a toy that has been cuddled, cryed on, mended and played with. Our girls all have their special one as well. They have changed their favourite over the years and they are taken to bed every night.

I made the mistake of soaking a much loved doll in bleach over night once. She came out looking like new and was never touched again! How sad is that?
