Spring Cleaning the Kitchen

I Spring Cleaned the kitchen last week.

I didn't mean to - it just kind of happened.I was getting fed up with a sticky shelf where the golden syrup tins sit,the dried fruit shelf needed a bit of a sort-out,spring was in the air outside,
and it just kind of happened! You get to see the pretty side of it...... but there was plenty of the usual grime and elbow grease and embarassingly out of date spice packets, too.And now we need Post-its to tell us where the cereal and the wooden spoons have gone!

I love spring cleaning, I regularly move things round just so it all feels new and different!

Hee hee, what a fun post. You have some lovely things. I need to take a leaf out of your book and get cleaning, too.

My kitchen is way overdue for a Spring clean as well, thanks for the timely reminder. And I LOVE your collection of French canisters, they look fantastic, all those different designs mix really well.

I've started spring cleaning - my task today was the oven - am sure the rest of the kitchen will be much easier!!

Oh it looks so lovely! I did that the other day as well. Of course it seems to be back to it's messy ways already!

I love the post it notes - so funny!
But, yes, having a good sort out and cleaning the kitchen cupboards is always great therapy. I never fail to be amazed at how much stuff is out of date ... oh dear...
I love your French tins / storage jars they are so beautiful.
I was wondering if you fancy taking part in a series to celebrate our hands? All through March I'm going to post photos celebrating how we use our hands. Come take a look, and if you want to take part - daily, weekly, whatever suits - let me know :-)
Happy days to you!

I love a bit of Spring cleaning... especially when it means I can open windows and start to let the fresh air in the house! I've already put new curtains up in the kitchen windows in anticipation! I LOVE your pottery!!!

This reminds me of when I rearranged all our drawers. I should have put post-it notes up. Lots of confusion! Springlike here today and washed all my floors and gave the bath a good scrubbing. Feels so good! Kit
