In love with...

... my shady spot next to the Cosmos, the Black-Eyed Susans and (Lululiz's) Morning Glories... ... this year's charity shop blanket - a volunteer knits a few every year, and I pick up another one for the collection each autumn!..

... the bag I customised this weekend. CK? What CK?..

... and a certain birthday-man who turned 44 on Wednesday.

The boys made him a cake each!

Always lovely to have a 'spot' from repose, especially among the morning glories!

I love your blanket! I have a bag full of squares I knitted a while ago - maybe I should sew them up . . .

Super wonderful blanket! Nothing like a bit of fancying up your own bag :-) Lucky hubby having TWO cakes for his birthday - a very happy birthday to him :-) A good vintage that year! ;-)

Glad you enjoyed the posts...have loads more photos of the last trip to edit and post yet.

Aaah, what a lovely spot! I could spend an hour or two or three there quite happily, with a book, or some crochet, or just snoozing, lol. Great new lankie for your collection.

A lovely homely scene. Your blanket is beautiful and your bag looks good too! It's so good that your boys can cook well, it will take them far I am sure! Happy birthday to the man of the house. Betty

Happy Birthday to Mr Floss. And, as many others, I love the blanket. I have one my Nana crocheted for me more than 40 years ago - it's not squares, but stripes going round and round. I love it, but it's starting to fall apart now, unfortunately! I'd quite like to learn how to make another one. Maybe One Day when I've Retired!!!

Definitely good to have a special spot in the garden and enjoy those last warm days. Mind you with a lovely snuggly blanket to wrap around you the weather isn't as important.

Lucky husband with two birthday cakes and well done boys they look delicious.
