Feeling upside down!

This is a very good kind of upside down - my Australian magazine from my swap partner Selina has arrived! I'd asked her for a country lifestyle autumn magazine, and she really found just the right one!
I've hardly had time to read it yet, but everything in it looks great, and I really like the way it's written too (important for the inner English teacher, of course...)
But the upside down bit is that this is an Easter magazine, with Autumn images!
I may know for a fact about the seasons being opposite in the different hemispheres, but it seems it takes a bit of getting used to...
So I feel I'm getting twice the pleasure out of this magazine- the pictures and articles, but also the look at life from the other side of the world.

Thanks so much, Selina!

Yes it's always hard to see the pretty pastel shades of spring you get to enjoy on your side of the world when we have oranges and browns going on at Easter. Still we do our best to imitate it! That's a really lovely mag and so nice she chose that one for you. Enjoy!

Hey Floss,
I have this mag - love it....Australian Country Style, and the English Country Living are my favs!
It always has seem more logical to assoicate Easter with the new life of Spring....but there you go, these are the things we have to put up with down under! The upside is we can have Christmas bbq's!! LOL

Oh I am so glad you like it! When I came across it, I knew it would be perfect. This just reminded me I've yet to blog your mag. I'll get to that one today. Thanks so much for organising such a sweet swap!

What a lovely mag - hope the ones which I sent to you have arrived safely at your parents` house - mailed them out last week. Thanks for organising such a very simple swap. Was very nice to be involved.

Oh how lovely to get such an interesting magazine, it does take some getting used to the different seasons.

I posted my magazine last Thursday to my swap partner, haven't heard whether it has arrived yet or not. I hope so as it should have done!

You're right, I never thought about their fall being around Easter. It looks like a great magazine. My swap partner and I had a successful swap and I am enjoying my magazine from England. Thanks for organizing this for us.

That is so confusing, isn't it? Brilliant idea for a swap, though.

Ooh, that magazine looks wonderful! I haven't bought a magazine in over a year, maybe I could go to the bookseller's and see what they have. I'd love to cosy on the couch and dig into a good glossy!
