Oh, life takes over again..! But only in a good way:
The last part of my Essence of Christmas is, of course, Jesus. Can you spot him there, in among our Sunday School children and teachers? We had a 'global' themed nativity this year...
If you're a Christian, having Jesus as the main 'ingredient' of Christmas is a bit obvious. If you're not a Christian, I hope that you didn't stop reading straight away - I'm rather conscious myself of the alienating nature of faith blogging. I personally feel more at home in a very mixed blogging world, where we share our differences as much as our similarities. Rather like our church, don't you think? Happy Christmas to all of you. It's been a lovely year.

Absolutely with you all the way, Floss - one-track blogs [be they faith, fashion or frugality] can be a little wearing at times. If life is a rainbow of different activities, then it is good to reflect that in one's posts.
Have a glorious Christmas !!
I agree with Angela! Thankyou for hosting Pause in Advent. Peace to you and your family. Betty x
I do know what you mean and have skipped some blogs myself...He is afterall the essence in my day and His beauty is everywhere in nature, in all things good. So l can talk and write about many things, be it thrift findings or chickens. Wish you a blessed Christmas, Pam :-)
Merry Christmas!
I think you strike the perfect balance, Floss. Joyeux Noel x
A very Merry Christmas to you...let's try to keep all the joy of Noel going in the many days and years to come.
xo
So true. I think I alienated people with my second pause for advent inadvertently by discussing who Jesus was. Everyone totally shunned my pause for advent after that sadly. I didn't't mean to come across so forthright but I felt I wanted to write it but is a real shame, however tis my blog. I always conscious not to make my blog all one thing. MerryCChristmas Floss. I did my pause 4 but it was a little late x
